“This program offers students real opportunities to advance financially, but money is never the real problem. Every individual that we’ve ever impacted is currently -or has been a victim of some kind of pain. Financial resources to help them heal are a very much-needed piece of the puzzle if they are to ever truly experience life’s possibilities.” -Kevin McKinnie

Self-Help For Youth & Families Living in Poverty

We are incredibly fortunate to be in a position to create a work force for homeless youth and youth living in poverty, as a results of the endless WOW factors and benefits of Writing for the Soul Workshop™. Students who want to apply must sign up now. The deadline to apply is December 8, 2017 at 11:59 PM CST.

Members of our Street Team are given 20 copies of Life Inside The Ring: This Thing Called Life published by our students accessing our writing program in Arkansas and Texas for start-up at no charge. At $12.99 per copy to customers, that’s an earnings of over $250! After that, they are able to purchase more books at cost, earning an average profit of $6.92 per unit. This program empowers students financially, while stimulating the local economy when they purchase the things they need in life. We connect each member of our team with MENTOR.org where mentors give them advise, as well as help them learn how to increase sales by creating a business plan.
